Lovingkindness Personified

“The LORD is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness.” Psalm 103:8

Our Heavenly Father is so patient with His children. In light of His awesome capabilities aren’t you thankful that God doesn’t punish His children in anger even when we make the most serious mistakes? His mercies endure forever and He treats each child the same because He wants the absolute best for each one He has created. The Lord could return for His church at any moment yet because of His compassion He tarries wanting all to come to repentance. Thank Him today for the mercy He has extended to you and don’t stop praying for unsaved loved ones; that same grace and lovingkindness is available to them even at this very moment.

The Lords compassion for His creation and the lovingkindness He extends to His children are probably the attributes of our Heavenly Father that I am most in awe of; that the creator of the universe could care so much for me.
