So Be It!

“For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us.” 2 Corinthians 1:20

What has God promised you today? Of course, eternal life, His glorious return, His faithfulness, love and the presence of the Holy Spirit are all things a Christian can count on but He also promises His children things on a personal level. Perhaps He has given you the assurance that unsaved loved ones will one day come to know Him or that He will one day fulfill a calling He has upon your life. Focus on those things you know He has promised as you acknowledge His sovereignty and perfect timing in regard to the fulfillment of those things. Separate your own carnal desires from those things to which He has said ‘so be it’ and continue to hope as you wait upon all that He has said ‘yes’ and ‘amen’ to because He’s never broken a promise and He never will.

Everything that God has promised us is for our good and His glory. As you wait for promises to be fulfilled remember Hebrews 10:23 and “… hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful…” So be it!
