How Much Have You Been Given?

“And from everyone who has been given much shall be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.” Luke 12:48

I am continually reminded that I am truly blessed. I have a wonderful husband, a peaceful home and that is just the tip of the iceberg. I’ve often said that if God never did another thing for me I am still blessed beyond measure! As I become more and more aware of God’s blessings I become more aware of my responsibilities and wonder if I am making the most of every talent and gift He’s given me. All I can do today is pray that He will guide me into all truth as He helps me make the most of every talent, desire and gift that He’s bestowed upon me. It is the deepest desire of my heart to be everything that God has created me to be and to do my very best for Him in all the work He’s given me to do. Show me today Father, how I can give of myself in accordance with all that You have given to me.

It took years for me to figure out just what my talents are; most of us have been blessed beyond measure and so uniquely gifted. How about you, have you started giving back to Him yet?
