His Faithfulness Stands

“But I will not break off My lovingkindness from him, Nor deal falsely in My faithfulness. My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Psalm 89:33-34

There is very little that is certain in our world today. The economy surely looks grim, crime is on the rise and morale as well as morality seems to be at an all time low. Isn’t it wonderful to know that there are a few things that remain certain and can always be relied upon no matter what goes on the world around us? The Lord’s lovingkindness will never cease, He’s never dealt falsely and He never will and God will never violate His covenant or alter the utterance of His lips. When everything else around us is unreliable, unsteady and uncertain His faithfulness stands!

According to Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” So is His lovingkindness, His Word, His faithfulness and His promises!
