Who is Watching, Part 1

“For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.” 2 Chronicles 2:9

If you’re anything like me you probably find that with day to day concerns, desires, even godly ones you’re always just a heartbeat away from forgetting about God altogether, at least momentarily. How I want my heart to be completely His and how I pray that my Father’s eyes will rest upon me and that I will find favor in His sight. Make that your prayer today as well as His eyes move to and fro throughout the earth. If need be ask Him to show you how to make it so because the world is constantly pulling at our heartstrings and our minds are pulled in so many directions. We need God’s strong support every minute of every day so commit your heart to Him and say ‘see me, Lord, see me!’

When this verse comes to mind I feel like jumping up and down and waving my arms like a child wanting to be noticed. I’m so thankful that it doesn’t take jumping up and down to get our Lord’s attention, in fact, just the opposite is true. All it takes is a steadfast heart, one that is completely His.
