By Faith

“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5:1-2

I just want to acknowledge today that I have so much to be thankful for – God has poured out blessing upon blessing; more than I can count. But just to name a few of those blessings there’s peace through our Lord Jesus Christ (which goes beyond understanding), grace (and abundant mercy) and then there is the hope that I have because of Him. God’s Word tells us that we are justified by faith so I will ask readily Him today to increase my faith as I praise and thank Him and tell him how much I love Him!

I simply can’t imagine trying to make it in this life without faith, God’s perfect peace, His grace in which to stand and hope for the future that can only come from Him.
