Jesus Came That We Might Have Life!

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10:10

Daily renewal of our minds is so important because it often takes only a moment for a situation or unforeseen event to change our hearts from happy to heavy. Satan is always looking for an opportunity to steal anything he can from us and we can’t afford to be unprepared. Abundant life is a life full of love and joy, as well as peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. That precious fruit of the Holy Spirit within us is the very thing Satan wants most to rob us of. In fact, it’s the only thing he can steal from you and when he gets your joy the rest of the fruit often tends to go right along with it.

When you accepted Christ as your savior you also chose abundant life. Rely on Him to supply joy and peace and not life’s situations and circumstances; they will fail us every time. You’ve chosen life, choose joy as well!
