A Good Example

“Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.” 1 Timothy 4:12

Spiritual maturity is not confined to the older generation. Spiritual maturity belongs to anyone who knows who he is in Christ and behaves accordingly no matter what their age. An individual who is spiritually mature walks with God daily, studies the Word and waits upon the Lord to order his steps. The one who is spiritually mature speaks according to Gods Word, is an example of faith and purity to others and draws others to Christ by the Holy Spirit working within. One who is spiritually mature can be confident in who he is. If that is you dear reader, keep on being that example and stand firm in knowing Whose you are!

I have had the privilege of knowing many spiritually mature young people through the years and have considered it a humbling experience to see these young people be such amazing examples to a world that can be so ungodly. If you know such young people keep them in your prayers.
