The Lord Will be Your Confidence

“For the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught.” Proverbs 3:26

I’d like to think of myself as a reasonably confident person but I have to confess that deep down I really have no self-assurance at all. What I really possess is Christ confidence, not self confidence and without my Heavenly Father I wouldn’t have the ability to accomplish anything much at all. I think I would probably just stumble from one activity to the next, without any real plan or hope for the future if I didn’t know my source of real confidence. Isn’t it good to know that no matter what our need He will supply it and isn’t it good to know we can place every bit of our trust in Him to do so? I am so thankful that when I lack confidence or ability I know I can ask the Lord for it and that He will supply it according to my need and His plan for me.

Do you need confidence today? Let the Lord be your confidence; let Him go before you today and remove every obstacle as He prepares the way and opens doors of opportunity as only He can!
