The Stability of Your Times

“And He will be the stability of your times, A wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; The fear of the LORD is his treasure.” Isaiah 33:6

It seems that every aspect of our world is becoming more and more unstable with every passing day. The economy and the unemployment rate certainly aren’t stable. Morality and even laws governing things that were once considered sin seems to loosen with every reading of the newspaper. God is really the only sure thing and his salvation, wisdom and knowledge are there in abundance. He is stability in an unstable world, that is for sure but as I was pondering this verse I realized that His stability applies just as much to my own personal times; my trials, my needs and the desires of my heart. Yes, He is stability for the world, (if only the world would fear Him) but more importantly He is the stability of your times, your trials, your needs and your desires. Make Him your treasure today.

God’s faithfulness is really the only sure thing in our lives. His salvation, His wisdom and His knowledge are abundant; more than enough. Remember His faithfulness, trust in His stability, fear Him and He will be your treasure.
