The Hills Shout, the Fields Clap

“For you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.” Isaiah 55:12

I love to close my eyes and imagine this scene. Can’t you just hear the mountains and the hills breaking forth in joyful shouting? Can’t you just see the rustling leaves in the trees of the field as they clap with joy? I don’t know about you but I just want to join creation in praising Him, the holy and omnipotent Master of the universe. Rejoice in Him today! Join with the mountains and the hills in joyful shouting, clap your hands with the trees of the field. Go out with joy today and trust Him to lead you forth with peace that surpasses all understanding.

The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords is also the masterful Creator of an awesome world and He has meticulously and majestically wrought every detail. Is it any wonder His creation praises Him?
