Peace and Sanctification

“Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.” Hebrews 12:14

If you are pursuing satisfaction with God you’re probably already experiencing His wonderful peace that surpasses all understanding. Sometimes peace in our homes or in our workplaces doesn’t come as easily. Sadly we may even have to make an effort to pursue peace with others in our churches. Living peaceably in a world filled with chaos not only sets us apart it is also pleasing to our Father. Give Him the praise and the glory for that wonderful peace He provides. He’ll help you pursue that peace with others as well as in the midst of trying circumstances you might encounter throughout the day. As His peace reigns in your heart others will be drawn to Him because of that peace they see in you. Today I will pray along with you that He will sanctify me and help me in my pursuit of peace with others and as I pursue Him .

Living peaceably with all men may be what sets Christians apart the most in this hectic, chaotic and competitive world that we live in.
