Works in Progress

“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6

Aren’t you thankful that God never gives up on His children? Sometimes my frail human nature just wants to throw hands in the air and count it all loss but He will never give up until His work in us is perfected. Our Father is faithful to complete every good work that He’s begun (God has no unfinished projects). I pray today that this work in progress will never forget that it is He doing the good work, not me. I am confident of this very thing!

I have a few unfinished projects around the house; things I’ll get to someday. Thankfully, He’s faithful and doesn’t have a closet full of forgotten projects because He knows the end from the beginning in all our situations and circumstances and we can place full confidence in the knowledge that He won’t quit until His work is done.
