A Place of Safety

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runs into it and is safe.” Proverbs 18:10

Isn’t it wonderful to know that in His name we have a safe place to run to in times of trouble? He’s not only our strong tower and our place of safety; He is our deliverer, our shield and our righteousness. I pray that I will never forget to run to Him and never the false sense of security the world has to offer. It’s only in the name of the Lord that we are truly safe and I will cling to that name and seek refuge in my strong tower. I call upon Your name today Father, I call upon Your name; not just for safety but for every thing I need.

I love this verse and all that it implies. There is nothing the world can throw at God’s children from which refuge cannot be found in our strong tower; the name of the Lord. Run to it and cling to it today.
