He Never Grows Weary

“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.” Isaiah 40:28-31

Do you know? The Everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth loves you more than you’ll ever know? Have you not heard? The Lord does not become weary or tired as He watches over you and cares for you. For that you can be truly thankful. Even when we ask repeatedly for the same desires to be fulfilled and for the same needs to be met He hears without ever tiring of our petitions. He answers every prayer according to His inscrutable understanding. He is able to strengthen and empower by His Holy Spirit those who seek Him and wait for Him and if you need those things today He is waiting to hear from you. He will hear your prayer today and He’ll answer according to His tailored plan for you and in His perfect timing. Call out to Him, wait upon Him and continue to believe because the wait upon the Lord is always worth it.

I’m learning that waiting upon the Lord is more than just tarrying in His presence, that is of course, a valuable source of strength but I also realize that I must be patient as I wait to see the result of answered prayer. I don’t just wait in His presence for renewed strength I wait confidently for answers to come in His perfect timing.
