“And because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he shall be saved.” Matthew 24:12-13
Lately, I feel an urgency to pray like never before for unsaved loved ones. That’s always my priority in prayer because I know that God created them for the same purpose that He created me – for His good pleasure. But I also find it very disturbing that God’s Word says that most people’s love will grow cold in these last days and I realize sadly that I do see that happening to many who I had previously thought were completely sold out to Him. In view of that I feel the need to absolutely fall on my face before God today and pray that my own love for Him would not grow cold. I pray daily that He gives me the strength to endure to the end so that I will not become one of those people!
The disciples asked ‘What will be the sign of Your coming and the end of the age?’ Jesus told them a number of things to watch for in answer to that question and as I look at His answer I can’t help but wonder how much longer this world will be able to continue; so many of those things seem to be happening right before our very eyes. Guard your hearts, dear ones, and stay warm!
