‘By My Spirit,' Says the LORD

“Then he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel saying, `Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6

Yesterdays Daily Moment was about strongholds and how we must replace Satan’s fortified places (and his collection of strongholds are many) by taking refuge in God and allowing Him to become our Stronghold. Today’s verse tells us just how that replacement is accomplished; by His Spirit! Every battle we will ever have to face as we walk this earth can be won in the Spirit if we remember Who is doing the fighting. Remember also Ephesians 6:12; “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

It is by His Spirit that strongholds will be torn down, the lost will be rescued and the discouraged will be renewed and it is by His Spirit that battles are won as we allow Him to become our place of refuge.
