Don’t Abandon the Harvest

“For the one who sows to his own flesh shall from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit shall from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not lose heart in doing good for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:8-10

How I pray that I would be usable today and that I would be used by the Lord to sow good seed into fertile ground. I know from experience that seed sown seed to the flesh brings not only corruption but tremendous heartache and if you’ve learned this the hard way as well I pray that you also know that God is the healer of broken hearts as well as the one who redeems us from that corruption. Our time on this earth is limited and that it why it is so important to do the best we can with every opportunity we’re given. Give Him your best today and He will give you the strength and the help you need for the work He’s ordained. Don’t give up and then you can anticipate a fruitful harvest.

Sometimes it is all I can do to hang in there, especially when things look as if they are never going to change. I do my best to persevere because I just don’t want to be guilty of giving up right before the harvest comes.
