“For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one also hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.” Romans 8:24-25
Because of my Heavenly Father I have hope today and I hope for many things indeed; the salvation of loved ones, blessings for the faithful according to His Word and the ability to persevere. I hope for deliverance and salvation for some, healing or blessing for others, and that He will use me mightily today. I’m so thankful that I am not limited to hoping for only what I can see because some days when I look through my human eyes things don’t look too good. In fact I’d just give up all together but I know that God is at work and all I really need is Him. I have hope today because God’s Word says “all things are possible to him who believes”, Mark 9:23. In God alone I believe, I trust and I hope – I will persevere because He is more than enough!
Where there is life, there is hope and as Pastor Holder once pointed out, Christ even raised the dead! Never give up hope; not even when things look utterly, completely and absolutely impossible.
