Continually on His Mind

“How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You.” Psalm 139:17-18

If you’ve ever had cause to wonder how often or even if God thinks of you wonder no more. His precious thoughts toward you are so vast they can’t be numbered. Counting them would be like trying to count grains of sand; you’d tire of it long before you could even count a handful. Know that you are so precious to your Father that His mind never wanders from thoughts of you and that His thoughts toward you are always, always, always in line with His plan for your life; your best for His glory. In view of the vastness of His thoughts toward us I’ve often lamented that I don’t think of Him nearly as often as I should. Yet it doesn’t matter, His thoughts of me and of you are precious, vast and continuous.

Know that no matter how busy your day becomes He’ll be thinking of you. And know as you place your head on your pillow tonight that as you drift off to sleep He is still thinking of you, rest in Him and in the knowledge that you are continually on His mind.
