He Created All Things

“For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things have been created by Him and for Him.” Colossians 1:16

I hope that this verse reminds you today that your life is not just all about you but about God’s eternal purpose in creating you. I know I need an occasional reminder that I was created for His holy purpose and His good pleasure and I know my life has meaning only because of Him. Do remember today that your identity is in Christ and in your relationship with Him. He created us all with purpose according to Ephesians 2:10 and we’re just threads in a large and intricate tapestry but when those threads come together according to His purpose that tapestry is magnificent! Only in Christ does life have meaning but because of Him we can say that we are truly blessed!

I’m in awe of God’s creation from the tiniest almost insignificant amoeba to the vastness of the solar system; all created by Him and for Him. And the most amazing part is that we frail human beings are the part of that vast creation that He cares about the most!
