The Eternal Purpose

“This was in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him.” Ephesians 3:11-12

Do you realize what a privilege it is to have direct access to God’s throne room and to be able to enter directly into His Holy Presence? In accordance with His eternal purpose we can enter His courts with praise and with confidence. What a privileged people we are! Aren’t we truly blessed? We can believe that He can do all things and all we need to do is ask Him to increase our faith in the areas where it is lacking. That price that was paid on the cross was paid so we could have this privilege and I pray that I would never take access to my Father lightly.

It was God’s plan from the very beginning of time that mankind would have confident access to His throne and He carried out that plan through the Baby in the manger and His death on the cross; His eternal purpose carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord.
